The Rutherglen Food Bank, supported by The Trussell Trust, plays a pivotal role in combating hunger and poverty in Rutherglen by offering three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food to individuals in crisis.
Established in 2013 through collaboration among local charities and churches, it extends beyond food aid, offering support to help people overcome their immediate crises. As part of a national network, it also contributes to broader efforts advocating for systemic changes to eradicate hunger and poverty. For more details, visit Rutherglen & Cambuslang Foodbank.
